KSL Radio Sports internship is a 12 week educational opportunity. We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in radio broadcasting as it relates to sports. You will have an opportunity to be involved with the daily operations of the KSL Sports team.
Position Requirements:
Assignments might include: Conduct audio interviews for broadcast and online productions; Attend BYU practice sessions and/or post-practice interview sessions; Write for broadcast and online reports; Assistance at weekly BYU coach's shows; Audio archiving; BYU broadcast production assistance (in-week and on game day); Development of writing and reporting techniques.
Background/requirements:
• Registered student at a college/university eligible for academic credit. Internship is unpaid.
• Prefer someone working toward a career in broadcast journalism or the equivalent.
• Schedule TBD – 20 hours per week including at least four hours on all BYU Basketball game days.
